Hemp protein powder is made by cold-pressing whole, raw, hemp seeds; a process that separates the seed from the oil to leave behind a dry, cake-like substance. This cake is then cold-milled further and sifted through various screens to produce a concentrated source of protein in powder form.
The result is a fine powder with 50% protein concentration, with only 9-11% fat, 26% fiber, and a rich, nutty flavor.
